WHAT WE DO
Provide resources and faculty development programming that help all instructors become more inclusive and culturally-competent in their teaching and mentoring
Design and Implement
Design and implement learning opportunities for current and future faculty in innovative, evidence-based teaching methods that improve student learning and sense of belonging
Support faculty in their adoption of educational technology to improve pedagogy across multiple instructional modalities (face-to-face, online, hybrid/blended/flipped)
Create spaces for dialogue about effective, equitable, and reflective instructional practices in diverse classrooms
Build capacity for campus-wide professional learning in inclusive and evidence-based pedagogy and curricular design
Connect with a community of educators that values and consistently participates in classroom assessment, practices reflective teaching, and advances the scholarship of teaching and learning
Lead and Participate
Lead and participate in initiatives to acquire grant funds in support of student success from the undergraduate to graduate and postdoctoral levels
Engage in multidisciplinary collaborations across campus and with regional and national partners to promote cultural transformation of the teaching & learning enterprise
