Overview

This spring, CATE invites all UIC instructors to our AI Tinkering and Teaching sessions. These participant-driven, hands-on sessions are open to any instructor who wants to understand AI capabilities, consider how students may be using these tools, and develop strategies that directly support student learning. Join the conversation, bring your questions and concerns, share what you have tried, and collaborate on solutions for your course.

Participant Outcomes:

  1. Build confidence to use generative AI tools equitably and ethically.
  2. Collaborate with peers to share ideas, tools, prototypes, and feedback.
  3. Discuss when to prioritize human-centric interaction and when to leverage generative AI to enhance student learning and engagement.
