As an instructor, you play an important role in supporting students facing personal, academic, and societal challenges. Join us for a discussion on how you can recognize, respond to, and support students in distress with speakers from student support offices. Panelists will share how their offices can guide instructors in supporting their students. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and come away from the session with practical resources and strategies to support students through difficult and turbulent times.
Panelists from the following UIC units will speak:
- Counseling Center
- Disability Resource Center
- Wellness Center
- Dean of Students
