DESCRIPTION:Overview  In search of ways to elevate your online class meetings? Join us for this interactive workshop where we will explore strategies for sparking genuine interaction in synchronous online sessions. We will examine inclusive engagement strategies, including low-stakes formative assessments, authentic collaborative activities, and breakout discussion strategies that foster participation. You will leave this workshop with strategies you can adapt to your online teaching context.    After participating in this workshop, you will be able to:     	Align synchronous sessions with course objectives.   	Select accessible technology for synchronous online learning.   	Develop strategies for promoting student engagement in synchronous online learning.    EVENT FORMAT: This workshop will be online on Zoom.
