Integrated Multimedia Lectern Classrooms
Making up 81% of UIC centrally-managed classrooms, our Integrated Multimedia Lectern (IML) classrooms allow instructors to show up, log into the existing system, and begin lecturing immediately. The current generation of Integrated Multimedia Lecterns provide an installed computer but add enhancements like Blu-Ray players, support for current and future connectivity for laptops, a control interface, and increased stability and performance. Some rooms also have document cameras or dual projectors to display more than one content source at a time, and/or other special features. Additionally, in classrooms where the instructor area is accessible, the lectern is height-adjustable to improve accessibility.
