Media Production and Conversion
The Academic Multimedia Lab located on the IDEA Commons area on the first floor of the Daley Library provides assistance in multimedia production, including general consultations about multimedia use for instruction, graphic design, media conversion, closed captioning, video production, and support for the use of multimedia software installed in the media lab computers.
The multimedia production services provided by CATE, including media conversion, are not drop-off services. The technology consultants in the media lab will show you how to use the equipment and the software to digitize or transcode your media.
We recommend you to schedule a consultation to discuss your project with a multimedia specialist before visiting the Academic Multimedia Lab to work on your project.
