About
John is the Media Production Manager in CATE, overseeing all multimedia services supporting teaching innovation across all modalities of instruction such as online, on campus, and hybrid. He and his team produce multimedia content for UIC instructors, faculty, and staff as well as for CATE special projects. John formerly served as the CATE Multimedia Services Lead in which he managed the Academic Multimedia Lab and the Lightboard Studio in the Daley Library. He and his team also provide Audio-Visual Event Support services to the UIC Community campus-wide. Prior to joining UIC, John was a Media Specialist providing video production and audio-visual service & support to the students, staff, and medical professionals at Rush University Medical Center. He graduated from St. Xavier University with a Bachelor's in Mass Communication/Media Studies.
John enjoys film, music and playing drums.
