Overview

Unsure of how to account for AI in your course planning? Join us for this interactive online workshop, where you will consider how assignment design (or redesign), transparent policies and language around AI, and classroom community ethics agreements can facilitate trust around AI in the classroom. Participants will leave the workshop with strategies to promote a positive classroom climate around AI usage.

After participating in this workshop you will be able to:

  • Identify opportunities to revise assignments to discourage AI usage
  • Incorporate assignment descriptions and policy language to promote transparency around the ethics of AI
  • Identify strategies to promote ethical culture in the classroom
