About
Jennifer Torres is a Teaching Assistant at CATE. She assists in designing, promoting, and facilitating training workshops and webinars on teaching strategies and techniques for UIC instructors. Jenny received her Bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology and her Master’s degree in English with a focus on Rhetoric and Composition, both from UIC. She is currently a PhD student in UIC’s English Department pursuing a terminal degree in Rhetoric and Composition with a concentration in Latin American and Latino Studies. She primarily teaches in the first-year writing program and is also a UIC Writing Center supervisor.
In her free time, Jenny enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and reading (for fun)!
