Introducing the CATE Spring 2024 Workshop Series

AI in teaching and learning

At CATE, we recognize that you may be interested in taking a deeper dive into specific areas of interest, so in the Spring 2024 semester we are clustering some of our Teaching Tidbit Workshops into workshop “series”, which reflect related themes and allow you to explore a topic in greater depth or examine it from different perspectives. These workshop series also reflect CATE’s ongoing partnership with other teaching and learning support services across campus, such as The Studio and Learning Technology Solutions.

For the 2024 spring semester, we have two workshop series to highlight for you:

Series 1: Teaching and Learning with AI

If you are interested in learning more about Artificial Intelligence (AI), the impact of AI on teaching and learning, and how to make the most of AI in your teaching, CATE and The Studio are partnering to offer these upcoming workshops for you:

Learning Technology Solutions also invites faculty to join a Microsoft Teams Channel: AI in Teaching and Learning.

*These workshops are led by The Studio and will be remote/online in format.

Series 2: Reframing and Reflecting on Evaluations of Teaching

If you are wondering how to determine the ways in which you are effective in your teaching, how to interpret student evaluations, and how to communicate your teaching effectiveness to others, CATE offers these upcoming workshops for you:

Unless otherwise noted, CATE workshops are in a synchronous-distributed format. They are all on-campus, in-person events with the option to join online via live streaming.
