CIRTL@UIC is offering free online workshops this fall to help UIC graduate students and postdoctoral scholars develop a teaching statement for the academic job market:

Writing Effective Teaching Statements: Getting Started

Tuesday, October 25, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Zoom

Join us for this guided teaching statement development session. Workshop participants will be asked to complete a pre-workshop assignment in preparation for the session.

Monday, November 14, 3:00 – 5:00 PM | Zoom

Join us for this guided teaching statement peer feedback session. Workshop participants will be asked to submit a draft of their teaching statement prior to the workshop.
